Each Spring, the joint World Bank Group-IMF Development Committee and the IMF's International Monetary and Financial Committee and hold meetings to discuss the work of the institutions.
The Meetings are attended by approximately 2,800 delegates from our member countries, 350 observer organization representatives and 800 members of the press. Approximately 550 accredited civil society members also participate in the Meetings.
Plenary sessions of the World Bank Group/IMF Boards of Governors are only scheduled during the Annual Meetings in the autumn.
During the Spring Meetings, the World Bank Group and the IMF organize and host a number of related meetings and events, such as the Development Committee, the International Monetary and Financial Committee Meeting, the G-20, as well as the Program of Seminars and other events beginning on Monday, April 17.
All events, times, and locations listed in the schedule are tentative and subject to change. The "Week-at-a-Glance" schedule displays select key ministerial events for accredited participants in addition to World Bank-sponsored events that are open to all attendees.
The Corporate Secretariat Conferences Office (SECCO), works under the supervision of the Corporate Secretary of the World Bank Group. SECCO, along with the Meetings Secretariat, is responsible for a wide range of services during the Spring and Annual Meetings including: communications, registration and credentials, events services, office arrangements, hotel accommodation, language services, audio-visual support, documents and records, personnel, procurement, shipping, security, transportation and technology services.
The 2017 Annual Meetings will be held in Washington, DC from October 13-15. The 2018 Spring Meetings will be held in Washington, DC from April 20-22.
